Amanda (Leigh) Corbett
Founder, Creative Director
Amanda (@leigh.corbett) is a graphic artist and performer from the DC Metro Area. She is the founder and Creative Director of AM|CO Art & Design, and is a Creative Partner at HOT TOPIC.
With a background in acting (she has a degree in Film & Television Performance from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts) and a love of film, television, and theatre, Amanda brings a unique perspective to her design work, and understands the importance of images telling a story.
She’s currently binge-watching True Blood, has a love of K-Pop, and plays a mean game of Harry Potter trivia.
Andres Alejandro Ponce
Creative Consultant, Studio Coordinator
Andres is an actor, singer, dancer, stuntman, and teaching artist from the DC Metro Area. He is a creative consultant and studio coordinator for AM|CO Art & Design.
With an education in Musical Theatre from James Madison University and a Stunt Class from Peter Kent (Former Stuntman to Arnold Schwarzenegger) he has a set of skills that have prepared him to think and work on his feet. Other training includes workshops from The Smithsonian Associates’ Discovery Theater and Creative Tools for Teaching Program where he is a core team member. A natural born collaborator, he lives for working with teams that aim to bring joy, heart, education, and provocative thought to their art.
When he isn’t working, he is fulfilling his life with the things he loves most: comic books, video games, mythology, and his family. He is currently training to play Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Mortal Komabat 11 at tournament level.
